HIS STORY

My photo
The Ambassadors for Christ is a human division of the armies of the living God. We are they who have answered the call and who are now seeking the Kingdom of God in earth, as it is in Heaven. We strive to allow the Spirit of the Living God, the Holy Spirit, to perform demonstrations of His power through Christ in us. Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance are the fruits that He provides us to help feed a world full of hungry souls starving for present truth. It is for His namesake that we live in order to reveal His glory to mankind, in the hope that all will believe and surrender their lives to our savior, Jesus Christ. All praise, honor, and glory to our faithful commander and redeemer who always was, is now, and shall be forever.

Taste and See Challenge

Jesus wants to help you, yes you with you urgent need right now, be it spiritual, mental, physical, financial, filial, or other!

“Without faith, it is impossible to please God, He who comes to God must believe that He is and believe that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

So how do I get faith?

“Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

So faith is the same thing as believing, right?

Wrong. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen.” Hebrew 11:1 Believing what you needs to be combined with the faith you receive from hearing the word of God.

So I must believe in the word of God and believe that He rewards them that seek Him diligently?

Right. “Faith without works is dead.” James 2:20 But don’t make the mistake of depending on yourself, rather depend on God and ask Him for a desire to seek Him “It is God who works in you both to will and do His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

How does God work in me?

“Jesus answered and said unto the people, this is the work of God, that you believe on Him whom He has sent.” John 6:29 God works through His word in us to believe in Jesus. He works in us both to want to do and do His will, in order to save us from our sins, which like children we don’t understand how eternally deadly they are!  “...thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:5

That’s sounds great, but what about my urgent need? My bills? My depression? My sickness? I need a job!

“For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.” Isaiah 54:5 Trust and depend on the promises of God. Jesus says, “…do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” Matthew 6:25-27 Go about seeking rest and relief you’re your worries and a real-time solution to your problem God’s way and work out your salvation with Him who  promises that if you seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, everything you need will be added unto you. derived from Matthew 6:33

So God will help me out of my bind if I seek Him?

“…to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19 The salvation of your soul is priority to God. Have you ever been SO hungry that you couldn’t hardly rest, well “God SO loved the world that He gave up His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” “The Lord is… long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance John 3:16 “He who already gave us His only begotten son, would He not also with Him give us all things?” Romans 8:32

How can I be sure?

How do you know you like strawberry-banana smoothies unless you tried them before? “O taste and see the goodness of the Lord.” Psalm 34:8

ONE YOUNG MAN who had been searching for a job for three months and could not even so much as get an interview, decided to take the LORD up on His offer. He got up the very next morning and before he did anything else he spent some quality time with Jesus, reading the Bible and he prayed, asking God to help him find a job. Upon his search for a job this peculiar day, the very first place he visited said come back tomorrow for an interview and that without even filling out an application! It was just a few days after that, that he ended up getting a job.

ONE YOUNG WOMAN who was days away from eviction due to unpaid rent, wasted no time and she immediately began to seek the LORD! Well, before that night ended, she received a call from her uncle who said, “What’s going on? The LORD told me to call you.” Long story short, her rent was covered.

JESUS; is what these two praise reports have in common. “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man can come to the Father, except by me, says the Lord.” John 14:6 When you seek God, through His word, you are seeking Him through Jesus! When seeking the Kingdom of God becomes your priority, then it’s benefits become your reality. “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto you.” Matthew 7:8 Whatever it is that you have need of, praise God in advance for providing those things. “…for your Father knows what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” Matthew 6:8, rather be more joyful that you are receiving the gift eternal life through Jesus!

TASTE & SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!

God understands that you’re sick and tired and that you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, worried, stressed, frustrated. He also understands that if you think that you’re all good, you don’t realize that you’re really poor, blind, and naked. The source of most of the world’s sickness and blindness is sin, and God says “My people perish for a lack of knowledge...” Hosea 4:6 “Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Psalm 51:5 This is the condition that every human being enters into at birth. “God so loved the world that He gave up His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have ever lasting life.” John 3:16 “And He had a vesture dipped in blood, and His name is called, the word of God.” Revelation 19:13 Jesus Christ is the word of God and Jesus said, “…No man can come to the Father, except through me.” John 14:6 Going to God through the Bible is going to God through Christ! Are you in desperate need of something right now? Just as a hero helps a damsel in distress, what an excellent opportunity for God to make His love known for you through His word, even His son! Set about seeking your urgent need God’s way, even through Jesus Christ: the word of God, who promises and charges you to “Seek ye first the Kingdom of heaven and His righteousness and everything that you need will be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 More than a few people have made the decision to taste and see that the Lord is good. - Psalm 34:8 and taken the Taste and See Challenge in which they took God up on His offer to seek Him, His way for all their needs. All of them can agree that “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32 Babies have been saved, rent has been paid, hearts have been healed, jobs have been sealed, and salvation has been revealed, all because of Jesus Christ, who is the word of God.
